zesavi had the unique chance to execute a pilot project over a timeline of around 3 months within the Munich offices of the biggest German financial institute. Here, zesavi supported and enabled a business customer unit to establish new processes regarding their team-internal knowledge sharing. During the 8-week journey, the team members and their leader were able to develop 2 concrete mechanisms for knowledge-sharing which were put in place over the course of the project.

One of the first major findings was that team members rarely felt a sense of achievement within daily business – especially because their work mainly consisted of selling and supporting financial services for clients, rather than building physical goods like cars or bolts. Through zesavis findings and supporting guidelines, the topic quickly surfaced and was solved using the systematic approach of the zesavi journey.

Simultaneously, various ways of celebrating even “small wins” within day-to-day business were established. Thus employees began to grasp distinct and profound meaning in what they were doing – viewing their work in the bigger picture of common team & company goals. In support of this practice, the team set up a “wins-board” on which the colleagues were able to share their big and small accomplishments. The board not only strengthened the personal self-esteem and feeling of togetherness of staff but was also frequently featured in briefings and meetings (and of course the zesavi team sessions).
