How we could leverage the changes that 2020 brought for us and our partners.
A year full of potential.
2020 - a year with many surprises and changes in all areas of our lives. But also a year in which digitization became more relevant than ever before in everyday working life. We used 2020 to help companies reach and motivate their employees on-site and in the home office. At the same time, we developed a web application that enables every employee to create short, high-quality explainer videos themselves - in a short time and using a simple process. We have become an expert partner that is driving knowledge management in companies - especially since remote work is a form of work that will be with us well beyond 2020.
The year 2020 started very successfully for us with the admission to the leading startup incubator XPRENEURS XPRENEURS by UnternehmerTUM in March. With the support of XPRENEURS as well as experienced mentors and coaches, we were able to optimize our business model and also win new customers in the Corona year. As a member of the Startup Incubator, we were able to move as a team into the ATLAS building at Munich's Ostbahnhof, where we have since been developing new ideas and features of our application in a creative atmosphere and surrounded by other startups.

Another highlight of the past year is the cooperation with the Sanoptis AG, a leading network for ophthalmology in the German-speaking region. Since June, we have been advising Sanoptis on all issues relating to knowledge management and employee development. In this way, we help to ensure that the more than 1,200 employees of the ophthalmology network achieve an excellent level of knowledge for the best possible care of patients with the help of digital further development offerings.
In September, we were able to celebrate another great success: In the final round of the Hubitation contest of the Unternehmensgruppe Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt in Frankfurt we prevailed against 90 competitors from all over Europe and were declared the overall winner by the jury (see our winning presentation here). In addition to an extensive customer project with the Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt group of companies, we were also awarded the Audience Award, which enabled us to win a prize at the WE.thinkfuture 2020 Kongresses Aareal Bank came into contact with other exciting partners in the housing industry.
Hubitation resulted in a valuable partnership with Nassauische Heimstätte Wohnstadt (NHW). In an initial three-month pilot project, NHW used our zesavi platform to improve its internal communications. Using our application, NHW employees can now create informative, entertaining videos on work processes and innovations and share them with their colleagues at all locations at any time. We benefit from the direct exchange with NHW and use the opportunity to integrate further features of our application to optimize our service even further.
One thing has become clear to us: Especially in 2020, it was important to take big steps toward digitizing in-house knowledge. Here, we were able to provide our partners with expert advice and solutions for successful knowledge management. We are convinced that the development towards more digitalization will continue to gain relevance in the future. We look forward to accompanying more companies on their way to becoming digital organizations and to providing crucial support with our offerings for innovative knowledge management.
